CAT Footwear Men’s Core Revolver
The CAT Men’s Core Revolver is a fantastic shoe for welders. It is made from a manufacturer that understands the demands that industrial settings can have on one’s work shoes.
It is made from 100% leather with very tight stitching around the seams. In fact I was thoroughly impressed to read that one buyer had worn the shoes consecutively almost every single day for a period of at least 2 years. And the seam still held strong.
The boots are waterproof as well, and they remain waterproof throughout their useful life. As a welder you are exposed to electrical cables, hot debris material and sharp industrial objects and I can say that the tough rubber outsole coupled with the Steel toe make this a very sturdy option when considering a work boot as a welder.
This shoe is by no means perfect and it has been stated that the manufacturers insole can be a bit uncomfortable at start. This can be overcome by adding your own insert to mitigate the discomfort.
Overall this is an incredible work boot for welders
