He is a board member of the South African National Energy Association (SANEA) and current chair of the SANEA Youth Task team sub-committee.
He is a registered professional engineer (Pr.Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa and a recipient of the Mail and Guardian Top 200 Young award in 2023. He is part of the Global Future Energy Leaders (FEL-100) programme under the World Energy Council.
He is also the recipient of the TransUnion Rising Star Awards for 2023 in the category of Energy and the Environment.
Academically Mogale hold a BEng and BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, as well as a Master of Management in Energy Leadership through the African Energy Leadership Centre under the Wits Business School. Mogale is a fervent advocate for youth participation within the energy landscape.
